How to Earn Extra Income - Affiliate Marketing

By Charles M Kid

Everyone knows that the economy is doing bad and it is harder to get jobs now. If the economy is doing so bad why are some people maintaining success? Maybe because they know how to create wealth for themselves. There a lot of successful internet marketers who are doing well in this bad economy and some are doing better now than before.

Now the reason is because of people I know who have jobs, are being laid off because some companies are going down. I seen some people living on the streets as well. There were a good amount of people on the streets before but recently the numbers are getting higher and a lot of people are looking to earn an extra income.

http://kiepie.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/14_marsha_extramoney.jpg
This makes them want to try different ways of making money whether it is online or an extra job. If you take an advantage of that as an internet marketer, you may make more money. For example: "Make money online simply by telling two people which tell two people who all join this business."

You have probably heard these words before in any home business. Also you will notice that the number of people who are advertising their business online has increased. The home business category has risen and that is why internet marketers would make more money. Now not all of them are scams but some are and you have to be careful. Also you might run into bad sponsors who can not help you advertise your business because a lot of them are struggling themselves but trying to make it sound like everything is great with them.

So enough about that, the way you will be able to keep success in your life is by staying strong and not getting lazy. When people lose their jobs some of them become lazy and jump into online business thinking they are going to make a fortune. They really should worry about getting another job and then come into this. The reason is because generally people do not just start business and suddenly start profiting.

A job is a definite way to make money and keep your bills paid. Worry about that first then jump into online business or affiliate marketing after. Starting a business does not always guarantee success and very little people start profiting right away. It is possible though if you find the right kind of people to help you. So the best thing would be to find a job and then jump into business. Take the time to learn things and start taking action to make that extra income. Soon or later after doing online business for a while, it will soon become profitable.

Garlic Power

ALLIUM SATIVUM - garlic - whose family members include onions, scallions, chives and shallots, is a favourite, pungent flavouring agent around the world, but there are lots more to it than flavour!

As far back as 3,000 years ago, people were using it medicinally.  It was a part of the diet of slaves who built the pyramids and the ancient Greeks used it before battles and races.  More recently, it was used to treat infected battle wounds of the First World War.

Is it really beneficial for the average person to eat it, though?  Like most food and substances, the answers is difficult to come by.

http://www.esquire.com/media/cm/esquire/images/garlic-070108-lg-34656004.jpg
Some studies have shown that as little as half a clove of garlic a day can reduce cholesterol up to nine per cent and because of that, reduce the risk of heart attack up to 18 per cent.  Others say it will reduce cholesterol up to 17 per cent, still others say it has little if any effect.  It's worth noting that many studies show a reduction in cholesterol than those who don't.

We do know that it lowers blood pressure by enlarging  or stretching blood vessels.  One researcher noted that decreased blood pressure could be measured after patients took only one garlic powder capsule.

It's also an anticoagulant and could be helpful in protecting you from clots which cause strokes.  If you are taking aspirin to keep your blood from forming clots, garlic may be a more pleasant way.  Mixing aspirin or other blood thinning medicines with garlic can be dangerous under some circumstances though and should be done under a doctor's care.

It's been discovered that ulcers can be the result of viral infections, against which garlic can be a useful antidote.  It also is helpful against parasites, bacterial infection and even slows the growth of existing tumours.

Garlic works inside the body by promoting the ability of white blood cells to fight infections and by stimulating other immune cells like macrophages and T-cells which fight viral and bacterial infections, as well as cancer cells.  In other words, it helps your body to help itself, and neither bacteria nor virus can develop a resistance to that.

Raw or cooked?  It's still under debate.  Some studies say one thing, some another.  Garlic pills are thought to be as effective as raw garlic cloves bu some.  Standardised doses make it easier to track the effectiveness.

The reasoning is that the power as well as the taste and odour of garlic are released when a clove is bruised, cut or chewed.

Allicin thus released oxidises quickly and breaks down into over a hundred different substances, not all are proven to be helpful to the human body.

With all the benefits mentioned it should be included in one's diet every day especially in today's world, where overweight, high blood pressure and heart problems are common health concerns; a daily dose of garlic is part of a sensible, healthy diet.

Individuals who take anticoagulants, who have hemophilia, or need to guard against low blood pressure may want to consult their doctors and/or alternative health care specialist before embarking on this diet.

4 Tips to Great Communication in Your Relationship

By: Judie Brown

It is no surprise that we can find ourselves taking each other for granted. One way of knowing this to be true is how often we finish each other's sentences. At times, we need to pull back a bit and inject a fresh infusion of variety. Below are 4 tips to great communication in your relationship that will help you do just that.

1. Communicate
When couples are having problems in a relationship, lack of communication is usually the culprit. In order to rebuild that relationship, communication needs to be renewed. This will require that both individuals agree that "we need to talk".

Healing in the relationship cannot start until you talk. Agree that you will talk about anything and everything and that you will listen, really listen. Within that agreement, also be up front that you will not necessarily agree with everything. That is perfectly fine. Remember, you are two individuals desiring to save the relationship and you may simply need to "agree to disagree" on some things. In fact, always fighting over things you don't agree with might be how you got to this point in the first place!

http://www.saidaonline.com/en/newsgfx/couple%20talking1-saidaonline.jpg
Caution is key here: if you do not agree, do not yell at each other. That most likely has already been tried, with no success, right? Rather, the two of you need to calmly discuss the issue and together work out a solution. This is hard work but within a very short time, you will both feel much better, both individually and as a couple.

2. A Night of Passion
Intimacy and passion in relationships are not only important but also healthy. Couples need to enjoy being together in an intimate way. Often, when relationships experience the day to day stresses that life throws at you, the last thing either person wants is to be sexual or passionate with each other.

However, the intimacy within any relationship is a vital part of the healing and rebuilding of the relationship. Think of the old saying "let's kiss and make up" and truly apply it when tensions arise. And, although it might be awkward in the beginning, it is crucial.

As a suggestion: make your intimate time together special. Surprise your mate with a warm bubble bath, lighted candles, soft music, and a bottle of wine. Or you might reserve a nice romantic evening at a local hotel to include a wonderful candlelit dinner, fine wine, and a beautiful room. No matter how you approach it, intimacy is a needful part of a strong, healthy relationship.

3. Dinner Party
Here's an idea: start a new tradition by hosting a dinner party every other month. Invite several of your friends that you don't often see. Consider having everyone bring a favorite dish.

In addition to the dinner aspect, why not set up board games that everyone will enjoy? You could also have some light and lively music playing during the evening. You could make it a theme evening, complete with appropriate attire. Whatever you decide to do, plan to have a blast!

Spending time with friends in this kind of setting is also a great way to reduce stress. When stress is low, couples get along better. All too often, as the relationship progresses, friends you once had begin to drop by the wayside. This is a wonderful way to keep those friendships alive and now interact with each other's friends as a couple.

4. Happy Birthday
As people age, the tendency is to place less and less emphasis on birthdays. This is usually under the impression that we are getting older and don't want to be reminded of that fact. Even if the birthday is recognized, gifts are quickly given, meals eaten, and it is over. For your mate's next birthday, consider taking some time to plan something very special.

Make this a true celebration of their life by showing your love and appreciation in a unique way. Every person, including adults, love to be appreciated. Whether you make it a surprise party or a time of intimacy, your mate will be impressed that you went to all the effort just for them.

Remember, it is not a good idea to emphasize their age by purchasing black balloons or placing the exact number of candles on the cake and expecting them to blow them all out. What you are really after is any excuse to show love and affection, and a birthday is a perfect time to do just that.

Relationships are meant to be fun. We often forget that fact. With the right attitude and some unique ideas on how to make yours successful, you both can have a life spent together full of laughter and adventure!

First Impression

By Anna Lynn C. Sibal

So ladies, we all know the saying 'First impressions last'.  We meet these words as a catch phrase on some commercial on TV or the radio, or in some book or magazine that we happen to read. We hear our mothers and our girl friends alternately nag and advise us about making a good first impression. It is an idea that is deeply ingrained in most of us.

We are headed for a job interview, a first client call, a blind date, a dinner with potential in-laws, or whatever important meeting which would have us making new acquaintances. We are dressed to the nines, with our faces perfectly made up and not a hair out of place, and we smell great. Is that enough to make a good and lasting first impression?

Sadly, the answer to that is no. We may look great, just smashingly gorgeous, and that is just fine. But we may ruin what picture we have painted for ourselves at that first glance taken of us with our first move or the first word we utter. How then do we solve this dilemma and create an impression that truly lasts beyond first glance?

The first thing to do would be to make eye contact with the person you are meeting and maintain it for more than a second. And then you smile. Prolonged eye contact and a smile make for a good ice breaker and set the atmosphere for something friendly and pleasant.

If something bad happened to you before the meeting and it brought you to a foul mood, don't show it to the person you are meeting up with. Making a dour face and whining a lot at that first meeting would lead the other person to think that you are not at all nice to be with, so fake a good mood. Soon enough, you would not have to fake it, and you will start believing that you are feeling great all along.

If you are feeling nervous about this meeting, try to hide it by controlling your twitching, fidgeting, jittering, or whatever habit you may have that conveys anxiety. If you feel that you are not making good conversation, you can still redeem yourself by keeping the other person talking about himself. Also, try to talk more slowly. Nervous people have this tendency to talk too fast and to talk too much about themselves. Try to curb that and just let the other person speak.

Once the two of you get warmed up, just encourage him to talk more about himself. Do not be a narcissist by turning the conversation back to your own self. Respond genuinely to him and keep your gestures in sync to what he is saying, or else it would seem to him that you are bored and are not actually listening to what he is telling you. Flatter him with sincerity but do not overdo it.

First impressions truly last, whether it is for good or for bad. Make every impression you make good and lasting.
